Established in 1974, Karratha Amateur Swimming is a thriving, well established club that trains year around at the Karratha Leisureplex swimming pool, Karratha.
The club offers a suite of sessions to accommodate all types of swimmers who are supported by a team of dedicated coaches, parents, and volunteer committee members.
SWIM SQUADS
Karratha Amateur Swimming Club train swimmers in a number of squads “Minnows, Introductory, Junior, Intermediate, State Development & 18+ Masters”. Coaches allocate squads according to the ability of each swimmer. The focus of the swim club is to develop competent swimmers who set personal goals and achieve them during opportunities at club, regional, state or national levels. Squad training sessions are held at Karratha Leisureplex Pool in the 50m pool unless otherwise notified. Training sessions may include some time out of the water participating in land-based training developing core strength and goal setting.
